All artists are a direct product of their influences. Such is the case with guitarist, singer, songwriter Robbie Ducey.

Growing up in the same hometown as the 'Godfather Of Soul', Robbie was exposed to the heavyweights of the rhythm & blues/soul music scene of the late 60's. Otis Redding, Curtis Mayfield, Albert King, and of course James Brown are all early influences. The 'British' invasion of the early 70's with it's guitar driven sounds brought more influences such as Jeff Beck, Robin Trower, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, and Jimi Hendrix, all of which can be heard in Robbie's playing style.

From the Florida Keys to Ohio and all points in between, Robbie Ducey Band has been burning up the road for many years, constantly touring to promote their music and name. Robbie has always entertained and 'wowed' their audiences with the thing that matters the most---Great Music And Great Performance.

This habanero-hot style is full of riffs and licks that would make even a "King" proud, especially the one with first names of Albert, Freddie, and of course B.B.”

Ed Turner- Metropolitan Spirt

Robbie Ducey Band is the most requested artists to play our Back Yard Blues festival- solid and smokin'.”

Tommy Lee Cook/World famous Buckingham's

This is that rare example of a perfect gathering of soul and artistry, that turns every performance into a 'happening'. A rare treat to find a band that doesn't rely on hype or gimmickry, but lives to play music, and play they do.”
